Coordinator of Adult Education
Barry comes to Jackson State from Henderson County Schools where he was a lead adult education instructor. While in that position, he supervised adult education in four counties and taught in three. He has also served as an instructor for Dyersburg State Adult Education and as a supervisor for Trenton Special School District. Barry has a Bachelor's degree in History and a teaching certification from The University of Tennessee at Martin.
Adult Education Assistant
Jennifer comes to Jackson State from The Pictsweet Company where she was an HR Generalist / Safety Coordinator. While at Pictsweet, she managed all day-to-day HR initiatives and activities for the employees, developed comprehensive training programs, and conducted contractor orientation and safety training and assisted with new employee orientation. Jennifer has an Associate of Science in Computer Information Technology from Jackson State and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Bethel University.
Connor most recently worked at Jackson State as a student worker in the OIT department. While working in that capacity, he patched software and installed new versions to eliminate security problems and protect data, maintained functional office equipment with troubleshooting and maintenance abilities, and used diagnostic tools to identify hardware failures and replace non-functional components. Connor attended Jackson State as part of our IT program.
Director of Development and Community Relations
Lindsey comes to Jackson State from the University of Tennessee where she worked with 4-H programs in the area of fundraising, donor relations, and event planning, throughout a 31 county area. She also has experience as a financial aid officer at South University in Georgia. Lindsey has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a MBA from Bethel, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Education from UT Martin.
