TAF Advisory

Type: Standing

Purpose: The TAF Advisory Committee responsibility is that of recommending the purchase of technology equipment and/or services according to TBR policy. This committee reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The membership of this committee is made up of representatives from the college academic departments. Personnel from other areas sit on the committee in an advisory function.

Responsibilities

  • Recommendations for equipment and/or services are submitted to the committee from the various departments. The committee will prioritize the needs.
  • The committee chairman will submit the list to the VPAA.
  • The VPAA, in cooperation with the Academic Deans, will make final approval.

  • One representative from Allied Health (Odd year)
  • One representative from Nursing (Odd year)
  • One representative from Communication and Humanities (Even year)
  • One representative from Math & Natural Sciences (Odd year)
  • One representative from Social & Behavioral Sciences (Even year)
  • One representative from Classified staff (Even year)
  • One representative from Pro / Tech staff (Odd year)
  • One representative from Faculty Council (Annually)
  • One representative from Financial and Administrative Affairs (Even year)
  • One representative from Student Services (Odd year)
  • One student representative (Optional) (Annually)
  • Permanent member – non-voting – Academic Affairs TAF Coordinator
  • Permanent member – non-voting – Internal Auditor
  • Permanent member – non-voting – OIT Representative
  • Permanent member – non-voting – OIT Director
