Academic Assistance Tutoring

The AAC offers JSCC students FREE tutoring in as many disciplines as we are able to enlist tutors. Our tutors are recommended by faculty from most academic areas. We are fully accredited by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) at Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1.*

We provide tutoring in:

Accounting
Biology
Chemistry
Computer Science
Nursing
Philosophy
Spanish
Additional subjects as requested

To request a tutor, fill out the Tutor Request Form and bring to the AAC. Ms. Veronica Jones will work with you to set an appropriate appointment.

*The AAC Tutoring Program is certified as Level III by the College Reading and Learning Association or CRLA. CRLA is an international board of certification for tutoring programs. Once a tutoring program meets criteria to become certified, the tutors can work toward certification on three levels: I, II, and/or III.
