General Education Exit Exams
All students earning degrees at JSCC are required to take the Proficiency Profile exam prior to graduation. This exam tests students in the follow subject areas: critical thinking, reading, writing, mathematics, humanities, social science, and natural science.
The scores below are reported to THEC each year as part of the annual Quality Assurance Funding report.
*Certificate completers are not required to take the exit exam. Students who have earned previous degrees at another TBR or UT institution are exempt from this exam as long as JSCC has documentation of their degrees.
