JSCC tracks the number of students earning 12, 24, and 36 credit hours each academic year. These credit hour points are benchmarks that have an impact on state funding. Students can reach more than one benchmark during the year.
Jackson State Community College has goals set to increase the number of college credits earned by students each academic year. JSCC has not met the overall 2018 goal. This is partly due to the large number of part-time students (dual enrollment and TN Reconnect populations).
