Tips for Writing an Appeal for a Refund
Appeals must be submitted in writing (neatly handwritten or typed) in a timely manner.
Please include the following in your appeal:
- Date
- Your name
- Campus ID#: J00
- Course name (s) – for example ENGL 1010-01 or English Comp I
- Current address
- Phone number
- Signature
- Detailed explanation of what happened and why
- Be specific in what you want to happen from your appeal
- Please submit a copy of all supporting documents of why you are requesting a refund
Submit your appeal in one of the following ways:
- In person to the Vice President for Student Services Office located in the Student
Union Building
- Fax – 731-425-9566
- Mail – 2046 North Parkway, Jackson, TN 38301 – ATTN: Vice President for Student Services
- Scan and email to hbunney@jscc.edu
Any recommendations to allow a refund require FINAL approval of the President of JSCC.
