Confirmation of Registration

What is Confirmation of Registration?

Confirmation means you are confirming your intent to attend the classes for which you registered and giving JSCC permission to apply any financial aid resources toward the payment of your fees or that you will pay, or make arrangements to pay, all fees before the last day to pay as published in the catalog and schedule sheets. All fees are subject to change without notice by action of the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Who Must Confirm Registration

  1. All students planning to attend classes at JSCC must pay fees or confirm registration on or before the last day to pay as published in the catalog or schedule sheets. Remember, we do not accept confirmations for the FALL semester until the second week in July.
  2. Students who have loans, grants, scholarships, state or federal vocational rehabilitation, or any other type of financial aid covering all fees must confirm registration on or before the last day to pay for the term.
  3. Students who pay fees in full or make arrangements for the Deferred Payment Plan, if eligible, with the Business Office are considered confirmed when fees are paid.
  4. Students with partial financial aid are considered confirmed when the balance is paid or arrangements for the Deferred Payment Plan, if eligible, with the Business Office have been made.
  5. Confirmations must be made by the deadline published in the catalog or schedule sheets. Failure to confirm registration by the deadline will result in your class schedule being canceled.

How Students Pay Fees/Confirm Registration

  • Payment of Fees:
      • By credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express) using JWeb.
      • By U.S. mail (JSCC, Business Office, 2046 N Parkway, Jackson, TN 38301)
      • In person, at Business Office (Room 28, F.E. Wright Administration Building)
  • Confirm Registration:
      • Confirm online using JWeb.
